This stunning 2022 Ford GT Studio Collection recently came to us for full vehicle Xpel Ultimate Plus paint protection film. A fairly complex car with many pieces to install meant alignment was a key factor in making this project turn out 100% perfect.
Being the first Ford GT we had protected meant a bit of a learning curve with regards to where each piece was laid. Using the Xpel DAP was convenient for us, as they already had patterns available for this specific model, but kit adjustment was necessary to achieve the most coverage with a flawless install.
Once the car had gone through our extensive paint protection film process it was ready for the Xpel Fusion PPF coating. This coating adds an extra layer of resistance to light scratches, and also repels dirt with its hydrophobic properties, making surfaces easier to clean and maintain.
Adding an extra layer of Xpel Fusion enhanced the overall gloss of the vehicle and provided that additional piece of mind when it comes to offering the very best in car exterior protection.
Only 40 GT cars have received the Studio Collection package, making this vehicle particularly rare. “The combination of the stripes and accents invokes the emotion of speed and draws your eye to some of the most prominent features of the GT,” said Nicoghosian. “The fuselage, buttresses, and signature features on the headlights provide visual anchors for the graphics, guiding your eye across the vehicle.”
