AUTO PROTEK PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) 10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY PROGRAM
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD
AUTO PROTEK proudly guarantees the quality, performance, and durability of our premium Paint Protection Film (PPF) lines. Subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations outlined below, AUTO PROTEK warrants that the applied film will remain free from manufacturing and installation defects for a period of ten (10) years from the original date of installation.
2. WHAT IS COVERED
This limited warranty covers the cost of both the replacement AUTO PROTEK film and the labor required for removal and re-application. Coverage is strictly limited to film failures resulting from defective manufacturing or certified installation issues, including:
* Yellowing: Severe discoloration or yellowing of the clear film over time.
* Cracking & Blistering: Cracking, fracturing, hardening, or bubbling of the film matrix.
* Delamination: Peeling, lifting, or separating from the factory paint surface under normal usage.
3. WHAT IS EXCLUDED (NOT COVERED)
This warranty applies solely to film defects and does not cover damage resulting from external forces, neglect, or improper care. Exclusions include, but are not limited to:
* Impact Damage: Rock chips, stone punctures, debris impacts, or scratches caused by road hazards.
* Accidents & Abuse: Damage from collisions, vandalism, fire, racing, or off-road driving.
* Improper Maintenance: Scratches, swirl marks, or edge lifting caused by automatic brush car washes, dirty wash mitts, or high-pressure sprayers held closer than 12 inches (30 cm) to the film edges.
* Chemical/Environmental Damage: Severe water spotting from mineral-heavy water, bird droppings or tree sap left on the film for extended periods, or damage from harsh chemical solvents (e.g., acetone, paint thinned).
* Aftermarket Additions: Application of non-approved ceramic coatings, waxes, or sealants over the film.
* Paint Issues: Film lifting due to application over non-factory, aftermarket, or poorly cured paint repaints.
4. ELIGIBILITY & WARRANTY TRANSFER
* Certified Installation: This warranty is valid only if the film is installed by an authorized, certified AUTO PROTEK technician. DIY installations are completely void of coverage.
* Warranty Transferability: If you sell your vehicle, the remaining balance of the 10-year warranty is fully transferable to the next private owner. To initiate a transfer, the new owner must present this original warranty certificate and proof of vehicle purchase to an authorized AUTO PROTEK dealer within thirty (30) days of ownership transfer.
5. HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
In the unlikely event of a film defect, please follow these steps to file a claim:
1. Contact your original AUTO PROTEK installation center to schedule an inspection.
2. If you have relocated or your original shop is unavailable, contact [AUTO PROTEK info@auto-protek.com to find your nearest authorized service center.
3. Present this original warranty certificate along with proof of identity.
4. The authorized technician will inspect the vehicle to verify the defect. Upon approval, AUTO PROTEK will schedule the warranty repair work at no cost to you.
