This Porsche 718 Spyder RS visited us fresh from the factory for a stage 1 paint correction, full body PPF, and ceramic coating to the wheels. The first step is a deep decontamination wash to remove any paint dirt, fallout, contamination and any gloss enhancers or other silicones etc.
After this, the paintwork was polished to eliminate factory and dealer related paint defects, and to thoroughly prepare the paintwork for PPF. This process can take between 1 and 2 days depending on the car and the condition of the paintwork. This particular vehicle had a number of factory paint defects we wanted to remove prior to PPFing; not uncommon on these specialist Porsches.
Once the paintwork was polished to a high standard, the bodywork was degreased and prepared using GYEON Prep, before the bespoke, cut in-house PPF was carefully applied to the full body of the vehicle. This included wraps on problematic and more exposed edges for maximum protection.
Once the vehicle was fully PPF’d, it returned to our detailing bay for full body Xpel Fusion PPF ceramic coating, as well as coatings to the trims, plastics and exhausts etc.
The wheels were removed for full GYEON Q2RIM ceramic coating to the inner barrels and outer faces, as well as the brake callipers and brake centre bells for ultimate protection. The tyres were then dressed with GYEON Q2Tire; an Si02 based tyre dressing and protectant.
Finally, the car was detailed to completion, inside and out ready for customer collection, handed over with a full maintenance guide and aftercare instructions.
